Activation process
You need to specify an activation date for these cards. No activation on Sundays. Your phone number will be sent to you only after activation. Your validity period begins when the card is activated, due to which we suggest to activate only the day before you travel.
Using the SIM Card
Using the SIM Card for the first time

- Insert your new SIM card
- Power on your phone
- Your phone should connect on a GSM/WCDMA/LTE network.
Coverage
Our cheaper SIM cards work on the T mobile network, either directly or through their partners. T mobile is an ultra fast network, however its remote area coverage lags that of AT&T. If you intend to visit many remote areas in the USA, such as Alaska, natural beauty spots, national parks etc, you may want to consider our SIM cards that use the AT&T network, marked (High Coverage).
Receiving calls
People in USA can dial your number directly to reach you, for example, 1 804 555 1233; People outside USA need to add + to your number, for example, +1 804 555 1233
Calling a number in North America
Dial the 11 digit number directly; for example, call number 1 804 555 1233 directly. You can also add + to the number before dialing. There is no distinction between a landline number and a mobile number in North America
Calling India using Direct Dial
Dial “011” or “+” + country code + phone number. For example, to call India number 022 24216344, dial “01191 22 24216344” or +91 22 24216344.
Calling India using 2 stage dialing (for High Coverage cards):
Dial USA Access Number +13476701779 & when prompted dial the India number in full international format. E.g. 912224216344).

Emergency Call Number: 911
Please dial “911” to report an emergency. They will ask you your location and the nature of the emergency. There are penalties for calling this number when not in emergency situations.
Extension of validity
These cards can be refilled at the telecom operator’s site for an extension of validity. The telecom operator name is mentioned on the SIM card that you receive. These refills will generally be more expensive than the rates paid to TSIM.
APN Setting
APN setting is automatic and should not require to be set manually. In case of no data initially please restart your phone and wait for a few minutes.
What is an eSIM?
eSIM stands for “embedded” SIM which is installed in your phone by scanning a QR code or tapping a notification. If an activation date is required the QR code / Notification is sent after activation, else 24hours after completing your documentation.
eSIM Advantages

- Save on time: In a rush to travel? We will send eSIM QR Code via email. Scan it as per instructions and It will be ready to use upon arrival.
- Keep your original SIM: The eSIM is in addition to your original SIM which will work as usual if you need it.
eSIM Disadvantages
- Unfamiliar: Since it is a new technology expect to be learning a bit.
- eSIM Compatible Phones: eSIM will only work in eSIM compatible phones. As a general rule, iPhone 11 and Android model 2021 and higher models are compatible with eSIM.
- Single Use Only: Most eSIM codes can be used only once. Please do not delete the eSIM created on your phone, since it cannot be recreated on your phone or any other phone. However you can de-activate the eSIM when not needed from your settings.
- Transfer of eSIM: To transfer an eSIM from one phone to another you must visit the store of the Operator concerned. However some USA eSIMs can be transferred from one iPhone to another.
Activating eSIM on your Device using a QR Code
Most eSIMs are installed using a QR code. The QR code is sent to you by eMail. You need an Internet connection to install an eSIM
iPhone XR, XS and newer
- Go to Settings, then Cellular.
- Select Add a plan, and the Camera app will open.
- Point your camera at the QR activation code until you see a message that says Installing cellular plan.
2021 Android and newer
- Go to Settings > Connections > SIM card manager
- Tap Add mobile plan
- Tap Add using QR code
- Scan the QR activation code
Activating eSIM on your Device using an Operator Notification
T-mobile, AT&T and some other operators make it even simpler to install eSIMs. They send a notification directly to your phone. Just tap on the notification and follow the instructions as in images below. The notification is sent to the phone you intend to use on your trip for which you have given us the EID and IMEI number by dialing *#06#.

Good service at a reasonable price. I used it in SFO , where the network signal was mostly stable with good voice quality.Data speed was usually 3G speed outside SFO although on a 4G handset, and I had opted for 4G H2O sim. There was no problem with activation and the sim sure did kick in on landing at SFO, as was promised.ISD calls to India worked Ok, though sometimes it was difficult getting through.But overall satisfactory experience from purchase through activation and actual usage.

I purchased TSIM Prepaid SIM card for my USA visit on 24 May 2018
I used this SIM card during my visit to the East cost of USA.
I was given SIM of “LycaMobile” , 30 days Prepaid Card.
I found the Mobile service to be excellent & my Data speed was also very fast (4G / LTE)
My area of travel was New York City, New Jersey, Philadelphia , Washington DC, Raleigh-North Carolina, Niagara Falls etc.
Except for some remote areas (during our travel to Niagara Falls) the Mobile signal was excellent & internet Data speed was also upto the mark.
I paid only Rs.1755/= for this SIM card for 30 days , unlimited calling with 4GB of 4G
Data.
This was very cheap compared to the other SIM card company’s offerings.
I had also purchased another SIM card from a competitor company for Rs.2800/= with similar scheme.
Both the SIM card worked well and without any major difference.
Hence the conclusion is that TSIM was reasonably priced SIM with excellent service.

Very good service by tsim.nice quality coverage in USA.The data coverage was also satisfactory.Indian calls were also good.sometimes the voice quality is little below the best.but on the whole it is very satisfactory experience using tsim cards in usa.You remain in constant touch with your family friends in India and USA.

We regret the inconvenience. On your chosen plan, after the 1st 10 numbers, you do get additional India minutes. When you dial a number apart from the 10 numbers, the voice prompt reminds you that you have exhausted your quota & then goes on to ask you to dial the number you would like to connect to. This is when you need to dial the India number in full international format.

I bought T sim for my travel from 23.04.2018 to 18.05.2018. Every thing was find right from purchase. They promised unlimited india calling on 10 numbers and 300 min free beyond 10 numbers. I was shocked when i could not make call beyond 10 numbers and it repeatedely said that your 10 number quota exhausted and you can not make any more call. I tried local USA call centre and to my surprise they said you do not have 300 min at all and such scheme does not exists. I sent several mails and whatsup messages for using 300 min but all their instruction to call failed miserably and i could not use 300 min at all and spent a hell for making local indian calls to my clients. on my return i sent few mails them to return my money but there is no response at all . I did not expected such kind of false and wrong information from reputed supplier like T sim.

One colleague recommended your sim to me for my 1 week travel to US. AT&T seems to have an edge in remote locations overall, however there are also likely to be some locations where T-Mobile has better coverage. I had opted for ₹1,789.00 + GST (4GB High Coverage). The AT&T did not have any coverage (NO NETWORK) in the National parks of Utah and Arizona. My friend who had AT&T, got LTE coverage and did not have any trouble in the towns around those National Park. Manual selection option for network was not available for the phone using the TSIM. Actually all these places has T-Mobile coverage and ‘NO’ AT&T. AT&T was probably being supplied by the partner network, but not available for H20. TSIM service providers were practically impossible to reach (owing to time difference). Hope they update the wrong information of AT&T available in National parks

We are sorry you had poor coverage in your location. As per the operator and AT&T’s web site your PIN code has perfect coverage. As for your recommendations to your fellow travellers we would like to state that our SIMs are usually cheaper than what you get there. Also we give a choice of cards based on both main operators in the USA (T mobile and AT&T). It is unlikely the experience would be any different for SIM cards purchased in the USA.

I wanted to give “Zero” rating but it does not allow it so rated “One”. Make sure the coverage is good in the areas where you plan to travel in US and you are able to download and install their so called WebCall App which enables you to call India. My area in US has almost no covergae of AT&T and I was not able to install the WebCall App on both my android phones (Samsung S8 & S9). I have shared the mobile phone model numbers with them but the issue is not resolved. Poor customer service once you are out of the country. It is better to buy local SIM and use it with data services which is much much cheaper. Most of the time when you are travelling to US, your relatives, your friends or business associates know your schedule and most of the time somebody will come to pick you up from the airport so ask them to purchase a prepaid SIM and you are good to go right from the airport. Don’t waste your money on T-SIM.

Was forced to upgrade to this SIM from the original, cheaper T-Mobile SIM I had chosen with a story that it won’t work with my phone (granted I have a “made for India” phone – Flipkart Billion Capture+). Lo and behold, this SIM won’t didn’t work with my phone and there is obviously no customer service once you’re out there anyways. So I purchased a T-Mobile SIM there and even though it wasn’t great on data, at least it gave me voice access. Oh well… live and learn I guess.

We are sorry your phone did not work with our AT&T based SIM card. Many made for India phones do not roam well. However AT&T frequencies are closest to Indian ones in most areas, hence we usually recommend such SIM cards in these cases.

I bought your 1500 rs 28 day USA prepaid SIM.
Overall experience was good for India calling and USA local calling.
But the mobile data had issues – i could play songs like Gaana.com, but other apps like Uber, Google maps and Yahoo mail, Gmail did not work and said no connection.
Looks like there are subtypes of data access or different speeds. For gaana maybe less speed is needed , i am not sure.
Since i has wifi at hotel it did not affect so much except when i was outside.
TSIM team – pls check and correct this issue.
So will take off 1 star for this, otherwise great value for money !

This our 3rd purchase of a US sim from Tsim. We have never faced any problem for its usage in USA, even when we used it in Grand Canyon, Antelope Canyon, etc. We mainly used voice call services.

The Mobile Data could not be connected until I informed TSIM and they later shared my the APN. Once, I got connected to the right APN mobile data was connectivity was good and had no issue.

T Sim ( India ) offers prompt shipping and the SIM is delivered within 2 days to Metro Locations using FedEx. H2O ( service operator USA) had good coverage but the calling feature was disappointing. There was a lag of 5 seconds for voice to reach India and the clarity was like that of Data call and not proper voice call. Data at 4G speed was upto the mark

All over, it was fine. But, I experienced a problem. I could call to only 10 numbers to India. I called customer care three time, but no help with the issue. I had to rely on whats app calling. I had no problem in calling to any number within USA. I realize that other users had also experience the same problem. Tsim should clarify this limitation in their offer. This is kind of cheating.
