Activation process
You need to specify an activation date for these cards. No activation on Sundays. Your phone number will be sent to you only after activation. Your validity period begins when the card is activated, due to which we suggest to activate only the day before you travel.

Coverage
Our cheaper SIM cards work on the T mobile network, either directly or through their partners. T mobile is an ultra fast network, however its remote area coverage lags that of AT&T. If you intend to visit many remote areas in the USA, such as Alaska, natural beauty spots, national parks etc, you may want to consider our SIM cards that use the AT&T network, marked (High Coverage).
Receiving calls
People in USA can dial your number directly to reach you, for example, 1 804 555 1233; People outside USA need to add + to your number, for example, +1 804 555 1233
Calling a number in North America
Dial the 11 digit number directly; for example, call number 1 804 555 1233 directly. You can also add + to the number before dialing. There is no distinction between a landline number and a mobile number in North America
Calling India using Direct Dial
Dial “011” or “+” + country code + phone number. For example, to call India number 022 24216344, dial “01191 22 24216344” or +91 22 24216344.
Calling India using 2 stage dialing (for High Coverage cards):
Dial USA Access Number +13476701779 & when prompted dial the India number in full international format. E.g. 912224216344).

Emergency Call Number: 911
Please dial “911” to report an emergency. They will ask you your location and the nature of the emergency. There are penalties for calling this number when not in emergency situations.
Extension of validity
These cards can be refilled at the telecom operator’s site for an extension of validity. The telecom operator name is mentioned on the SIM card that you receive. These refills will generally be more expensive than the rates paid to TSIM.
APN Setting
APN setting is automatic and should not require to be set manually. In case of no data initially please restart your phone and wait for a few minutes.
What is an eSIM?
eSIM stands for “embedded” SIM which is installed in your phone by scanning a QR code or tapping a notification. If an activation date is required the QR code / Notification is sent after activation, else 24hours after completing your documentation.
eSIM Advantages
- Easy to use: Set up your plan by scanning a simple QR code or tapping a notification.

- Save on time: In a rush to travel? We will send eSIM QR Code via email. Scan it as per instructions and It will be ready to use upon arrival.
- Keep your original SIM: The eSIM is in addition to your original SIM which will work as usual if you need it.
eSIM Disadvantages
- Unfamiliar: Since it is a new technology expect to be learning a bit.
- eSIM Compatible Phones: eSIM will only work in eSIM compatible phones. As a general rule, iPhone 11 and Android model 2021 and higher models are compatible with eSIM.
- Single Use Only: Most eSIM codes can be used only once. Please do not delete the eSIM created on your phone, since it cannot be recreated on your phone or any other phone. However you can de-activate the eSIM when not needed from your settings.
- Transfer of eSIM: To transfer an eSIM from one phone to another you must visit the store of the Operator concerned. However some USA eSIMs can be transferred from one iPhone to another.
Activating eSIM on your Device using a QR Code
Most eSIMs are installed using a QR code. The QR code is sent to you by eMail. You need an Internet connection to install an eSIM
iPhone XR, XS and newer
- Go to Settings, then Cellular.
- Select Add a plan, and the Camera app will open.
- Point your camera at the QR activation code until you see a message that says Installing cellular plan.
2021 Android and newer
- Go to Settings > Connections > SIM card manager
- Tap Add mobile plan
- Tap Add using QR code
- Scan the QR activation code
Activating eSIM on your Device using an Operator Notification
T-mobile, AT&T and some other operators make it even simpler to install eSIMs. They send a notification directly to your phone. Just tap on the notification and follow the instructions as in images below. The notification is sent to the phone you intend to use on your trip for which you have given us the EID and IMEI number by dialing *#06#. Click here to know why IMEI and EID numbers are needed.

I would definitely rate the service provided by tsim.in as super excellent. Anyone going abroad, specially to the USA, should take a SIM from tsim.in. Just to clarify I’m not related to anyone at tsim nor do I have any business interests in this co. I’m a simple Thanekar, who travels to & from Thane & Parel in a local train daily. I took this SIM for a short trip to New York in the beginning of Aug 2018. I was really very skeptical about their service as I did not hear about tsim.in’s service from anyone & was afraid that I’ll loose my money. Still I went ahead and purchased their SIM online. It cost me somewhere around Rs 1050 for one month unlimited USA local & from USA to India calls with 1GB of 4G data & thereafter 3G data speeds. I must say my whole experience was butter smooth. As promised the SIM was delivered on time. It was activated on time. The tsim.in team was updating me with the current status of the SIM till activation. The team is really very helpful. I was able to use the SIM very well all through the trip. The SIM was genuinely unlimited. I made long calls to India to my parents & friends from the US & also was able to make unlimited calls within US using this SIM. I was even able to help an old couple from India waiting at Newark airport for their flight back to India which was delayed due to some technical issue by lending them my mobile for making a call to their son/daughter in the US informing about the delay. very good deal and network connectivity is good in all the places where i traveled, CA, AZ & GA , NYK but What I faced issue , whenever my phone is connected to WIFI , whether at hotel or my office , unable to receive call from others and gives the message out of coverage , where they call next to me, still with good network range , when I switch off WIFI , I will receive calls and also I can call.

This indeed seems to be a problem with some phones, wherein they attempt to switch you to WiFi calling in the presence of a WiFi network, and as a result cause problems in reception of calls. I used the simcard in California area. While the activation and delivery of simcard was timely, I was extremely disappointed with Tsim’s transparency. Firstly, the website mentioned that a T-Mobile sim will be issued however I was actually given a (brand name removed) mobile simcard. Further, the worst part was that I was receiving fraud/hoax/promotional calls from random USA nos. continuously. I received nearly 1000 such calls over a span of 17 days. I think this is serious and can only be blamed on the simcard company (brand name removed) that is recycling these nos. so often. It is not only a nuisance for the traveller but also a disturbance when you are on vacation.
I think this needs to be taken seriously. I will be happy to share the details of which nos i received calls from.
Kindly look into this on priority.

I have been customer with TSIM for past 5 years. I used to travel every year to Europe. This time I was travelling to USA and the SIM was magical. It made life easier. I did not have to think twice before making a call.
I did experience low or no network in some locations, specially in Orlando. But overall it was superb. Since my mobile Mi was not compatible for Mobile data, the advice of not taking package with more data was useful. WiFi anyway was available in the hotel.

I would really recommend T-sim for everyone travelling abroad. It worked great for US (for others also I guess it would be good). My review would be related to US. You may hear from people that USA sim cards in India are really expensive and you should buy the sim card after you travel to US but believe me I had a great experience with T-sim. It was much cheaper than any of US sims sold in India and even cheaper compared to US. I would really recommend this product, it would be great for your US stay. The SIM did not work well. Even though i was in LA in USA multiple times network was not there. I bought two SIMs and both have same issue of no network.

I have used 8 GB High Coverage ( H2O / ATT sim ) plan from 17th may to 7th June 2018.
I had been appraised by TSim team that 3G will only work for MI 5 phone, before I started my journey..
To my surprise, I almost got 4G coverage in metro areas…Free calling within USA and to India makes use of product hassle free.. No need about charges..that makes whole journey hassle free…

Very good service at the price. I used the SIM for a month while travelling in the US west coast cities and got good coverage via AT&T for local as well as India calls and also data. However my SIM was supposed to be valid till 01 June and I was able to make local calls on that day and got data also.; but India calls were not allowed that day and I kept getting the message that my balance was nil.
