Activation process
You need to specify an activation date for these cards. No activation on Sundays. Your phone number will be sent to you only after activation. Your validity period begins when the card is activated, due to which we suggest to activate only the day before you travel.

- Your phone should connect on a GSM/WCDMA/LTE network.
Coverage
Our cheaper SIM cards work on the T mobile network, either directly or through their partners. T mobile is an ultra fast network, however its remote area coverage lags that of AT&T. If you intend to visit many remote areas in the USA, such as Alaska, natural beauty spots, national parks etc, you may want to consider our SIM cards that use the AT&T network, marked (High Coverage).
Receiving calls
People in USA can dial your number directly to reach you, for example, 1 804 555 1233; People outside USA need to add + to your number, for example, +1 804 555 1233
Calling a number in North America
Dial the 11 digit number directly; for example, call number 1 804 555 1233 directly. You can also add + to the number before dialing. There is no distinction between a landline number and a mobile number in North America
Calling India using Direct Dial
Dial “011” or “+” + country code + phone number. For example, to call India number 022 24216344, dial “01191 22 24216344” or +91 22 24216344.
Calling India using 2 stage dialing (for High Coverage cards):
Dial USA Access Number +13476701779 & when prompted dial the India number in full international format. E.g. 912224216344).

Emergency Call Number: 911
Please dial “911” to report an emergency. They will ask you your location and the nature of the emergency. There are penalties for calling this number when not in emergency situations.
Extension of validity
These cards can be refilled at the telecom operator’s site for an extension of validity. The telecom operator name is mentioned on the SIM card that you receive. These refills will generally be more expensive than the rates paid to TSIM.
APN Setting
APN setting is automatic and should not require to be set manually. In case of no data initially please restart your phone and wait for a few minutes.
What is an eSIM?
eSIM stands for “embedded” SIM which is installed in your phone by scanning a QR code or tapping a notification. If an activation date is required the QR code / Notification is sent after activation, else 24hours after completing your documentation.
eSIM Advantages
- Easy to use: Set up your plan by scanning a simple QR code or tapping a notification.
- Save on Shipping cost: No physical delivery requirement
- Save on time: In a rush to travel? We will send eSIM QR Code via email. Scan it as per instructions and It will be ready to use upon arrival.
- Keep your original SIM: The eSIM is in addition to your original SIM which will work as usual if you need it.
eSIM Disadvantages
- Unfamiliar: Since it is a new technology expect to be learning a bit.
- eSIM Compatible Phones: eSIM will only work in eSIM compatible phones. As a general rule, iPhone 11 and Android model 2021 and higher models are compatible with eSIM.
- Single Use Only: Most eSIM codes can be used only once. Please do not delete the eSIM created on your phone, since it cannot be recreated on your phone or any other phone. However you can de-activate the eSIM when not needed from your settings.
- Transfer of eSIM: To transfer an eSIM from one phone to another you must visit the store of the Operator concerned. However some USA eSIMs can be transferred from one iPhone to another.
Activating eSIM on your Device using a QR Code
Most eSIMs are installed using a QR code. The QR code is sent to you by eMail. You need an Internet connection to install an eSIM
iPhone XR, XS and newer
- Go to Settings, then Cellular.
- Select Add a plan, and the Camera app will open.
- Point your camera at the QR activation code until you see a message that says Installing cellular plan.
2021 Android and newer
- Go to Settings > Connections > SIM card manager
- Tap Add mobile plan
- Tap Add using QR code
- Scan the QR activation code
Activating eSIM on your Device using an Operator Notification
T-mobile, AT&T and some other operators make it even simpler to install eSIMs. They send a notification directly to your phone. Just tap on the notification and follow the instructions as in images below. The notification is sent to the phone you intend to use on your trip for which you have given us the EID and IMEI number by dialing *#06#. Click here to know why IMEI and EID numbers are needed.

I didn’t get signal at a lot of place. But when I did get signal, it worked just fine. 4G internet also worked very well when there was signal.

I took a TSIM and had a very bad experience. It worked only in New York but only in patches. Then, Chicago and Indianapolis and Seattle had negligible or nil service. Las Vegas nil service.
And in SFO it was very patchy.
The data connection was very poor.
I’ve used TSIM for Europe and was happy with their services but US service was a total failure. Not recommended.

Travelled to West Coast, Chicago and East Coast in May 2017.Very poor data signal even in Cities like SFO, LA, and NYC, voice is OK.. My phone has Band 4 and Band 2 reception. Never got 4G signals anywhere. Waste of money. In the US only AT&T is dependable, best to avoid T- Mobile

This is a very nice mobile service sim for short period of traveling. I had purchased this for my USA trip of 10 days and could use it like my local mobile service. Unlimited phone calls to local and India both, incoming and outgoing. Also it was very useful whenever I wanted to place an order or book a taxi as people there were expecting local US number for booking. Network range is also amazing, never got disconnected or found area where service is not working unless its a restricted area. Data connectivity is also good as I had opted for cheapest(1 GB) sim card and my handset was supporting 2G. But still I was able to use GoogleMap and Whatsapp precisely. Overall very good option to have this sim for short period of time and its very cheap compare to other services in USA. And best part of it is, it gets delivered to home in India and can be activated before travel dates as per our requirements, unlike other sims which needs to be purchased after arrival on airport or local telecom shops. This is the Best option anyone can try. Good work team TSim snd keep it up. Very much appreciated the service.

Recently I am using the USA prepaid card for 30 days. When I traveled to Rapid city & mount Rushmore, I got range of AT&T but was not able to use data for complete stay of 3 days. I tried every thing but it did not work on my i phone. Once I came back to Minneapolis, i got range of [T mobile] and data started working. I do not know the reason, but surely it seems that there must be some hidden condition of data usage whenever there is no range of [T mobile]. It means that data usage is restricted in case of other service provider. Surely I am not happy and worried that it will happen everywhere there is no range of [T mobile].

As mentioned in other reviews and TSIM’s description of product, the coverage is provided by [T Mobile], which does not have as wide a network in the US as AT&T or Verizon, but for us it worked in most places along the East coast for outgoing calls. For incoming calls, most of times it went directly to voicemail for some reason. Still, I think it is an acceptable product and good value for money.

Worked good only for some set of indian phone number. This is strange and I reported this many time but they were always saying we will get back to you but no one called back.
The issue was i was able to call only some set of numbers which I already called in first week but from second week onwards when I tried calling some other indian numbers I was not able to.
And calling there customer care did not help either.

I bought a simple mobile card. T-sim promised me 8gb data and also 8gb was written on my card but I could use only upto 4gb. Even after repeatedly calling and e-mailing T-sim, I have received no call back or mail from them. Also simple mobile has bad coverage in sub-urban areas.

Visited USA in March 2017 and took this card in Advance. This is much cheaper than those offered by Famous Big Branded Operators like Matrix and the ones offered at Airport Kiosk by Uniconnect. Service and Support by T-SIM was great , but T-Mobile Operator of USA offers very poor coverage , better opt for Plans of Other operators.

Excellent network coverage in USA. I was getting good speed on LTE. After ordering, I got my sim in one working day. Apart from some technical glitches which did not allow me to know my number until few hours before travel, the sim worked smoothly. I was required to update my number with my credit cards.
It is lot cheaper than those available at airport. (~30% cheaper)
