Using the SIM Card
Using the SIM Card for the first time
- Power off your phone
- Insert your new SIM card
- Power on your phone
- Ensure that roaming is turned on your phone.
- Your phone should connect on a GSM/WCDMA/LTE network.
Please also note, using this SIM card to surf Internet or make calls outside covered countries will significantly reduce the data and voice usage capacity, or even cause the SIM card to stop functioning.
Receiving calls
People anywhere in the world can dial your UK or French number directly to reach you, for example, +44774132 12345 or +33674132 12345. The local number is especially useful for booking cabs, hotels and restaurant reservations.
Making local calls
For the purposes of this card, local calls include calls to any country mentioned under “Coverage”, from any country mentioned under “Coverage”. To make such calls use the full international format. E.g. to call a UK landline number from any country use (for example) +44 207 222 1234.
What is an eSIM?
eSIM stands for “embedded” SIM which is installed in your phone by scanning a QR code or tapping a notification. If an activation date is required the QR code / Notification is sent after activation, else 24hours after completing your documentation.
eSIM Advantages
- Easy to use: Set up your plan by scanning a simple QR code or tapping a notification.
- Save on Shipping cost: No physical delivery requirement
- Save on time: In a rush to travel? We will send eSIM QR Code via email. Scan it as per instructions and It will be ready to use upon arrival.
- Keep your original SIM: The eSIM is in addition to your original SIM which will work as usual if you need it.
eSIM Disadvantages
- Unfamiliar: Since it is a new technology expect to be learning a bit.
- eSIM Compatible Phones: eSIM will only work in eSIM compatible phones. As a general rule, iPhone 11 and Android model 2021 and higher models are compatible with eSIM.
- Single Use Only: Most eSIM codes can be used only once. Please do not delete the eSIM created on your phone, since it cannot be recreated on your phone or any other phone. However you can de-activate the eSIM when not needed from your settings.
- Transfer of eSIM: To transfer an eSIM from one phone to another you must visit the store of the Operator concerned. However some USA eSIMs can be transferred from one iPhone to another.
Activating eSIM on your Device using a QR Code
Most eSIMs are installed using a QR code. The QR code is sent to you by eMail. You need an Internet connection to install an eSIM
iPhone XR, XS and newer
- Go to Settings, then Cellular.
- Select Add a plan, and the Camera app will open.
- Point your camera at the QR activation code until you see a message that says Installing cellular plan.
2021 Android and newer
- Go to Settings > Connections > SIM card manager
- Tap Add mobile plan
- Tap Add using QR code
- Scan the QR activation code
Activating eSIM on your Device using an Operator Notification
T-mobile, AT&T and some other operators make it even simpler to install eSIMs. They send a notification directly to your phone. Just tap on the notification and follow the instructions as in images below. The notification is sent to the phone you intend to use on your trip for which you have given us the EID and IMEI number by dialing *#06#. India calling for the Economy version of the SIM Card requires a 2 stage dialing process. We have no record of any attempts from your SIM card to the UK access number. Any attempt to call India directly without the 2 stage process will result in the message you have described above.

I used two cards for a Family trip to France and Switzerland.
I was guided very well by TSIM call center staff with important tips like get the SIM activated one day before travel, i.e. while in India, insert the SIM only after reaching the airport of the destination country and also on the most beneficial plan.
Both cards worked well in both countries. However calls to India through a UK number were cumbersome as one has to remember the India number and dial it physically than access through the phone’s contact list.
2GB data was sufficient and was great help in navigating by google map.
However, we conserved data whats app.

I used the European and UK SIM card with 12 GB data.
I loaded it in India on the travel day but it showed some vague message I could not understand. The Team was helpful and asked me to reinsert the SIM card at the destination. I expected it to start working on its own, It did not. I contacted the team and soon, it worked. Data was fast and I could make calls to India and locally. I had problem once but the team sorted it out.
I left for UK after 10 days. It did not work in UK on arrival. Once again, I had to contact the team and after WhatsApp an chat, it was set right. In the days I was in UK, I repeatedly faced the same problems. The SIM worked sometimes and off sometimes. Each time I had to contact the team. While it worked it worked fine, including hotspots. But then, each time, I could contact the team only when free WiFi was available. But the support was prompt .
Contrary to what they claim, the SIM does not seem to function on its own without prodding

My wife and I both opted for the Unlimited Europe Sim on a recent trip in May 2019.
The card worked very well in Switzerland ,Croatia, Slovenia, Austria, Italy & Germany.
The only issue we both faced was that we were unable to call 2 of our friends who were travelling with us and who had taken Matrix prepaid sim cards – their numbers were UK numbers too (just like our own TSIM numbers) but we were unable to call their numbers. They were able to call us though. We could connect to them using whats app calling . I had escalated the matter to TSIM on their whats app number but they were unable to resolve the issue. I had also sent them a snapshot of the error message …. “Sorry it has not been possible to connect your call. Please try again later.” with a “DISMISS” at the bottom of the screen. But there was no resolution.
Besides the above issue, the TSIM worked very well.
I would still consider using TSIM for my next trip.

I landed in Zurich with lost baggages by the airline yesterday. I had the tsim card along, and I had a very bad experience.. the data and call got connected for around 20 minutes and then nothing was working, all stopped. I couldn’t call, couldn’t use data, the three app didn’t download and three website I created an account but no help from there too. Called tsim and they created an I’d number 911153 but haven’t received any response yet since over 12 hours.
I’m still in Zurich and spent a day without network.
Highly disappointed by tsim and the service.

I will rate this with 4 star because of the excellent customer service, voice quality and network coverage. This is a excellent option if you are travelling aboard. I would had rated it 5 start but it took 2 days for the SIM to get activated. I had a backup SIM which I used for those 2 days but imagine going solely depending on this SIM and it takes 2 days for activating.
I had to email the customer service twice and they just kept telling me that the activation is in progress.

When contacted customer care I was asked to perform many steps. Nothing helped. I had to spent a lot of time with customer care through WhatsApp.
Finally after 3-4 days of being in Europe, they realized that they had some issues at their end and they resolved it.
After that did not have any issues w.r.t. calls.
