Activation process

These cards are plug and play and activate on first use. For voice cards, your HK phone number is sent to you by SMS on first call or data use.

Using the SIM Card

Using the SIM Card for the first time

1. Power off your phone
2. Insert your new SIM card
3. Power on your phone
4. Your phone should connect on a GSM/WCDMA/LTE network.
5. For voice cards, you will get your phone number by SMS on the first call or data use.

Please complete the above steps only on reaching a covered country, since using this SIM card to surf Internet or make calls outside the coverage area will significantly reduce the data and voice usage capacity, or even cause the SIM card to stop functioning.

Receiving calls

Callers can just dial your number directly to reach you, for example, +852 2122 1188

Calling a number in Hong Kong or Macau

Dial the phone number directly; Hong Kong numbers start with +852 and Macau numbers +853.

Calling an India number

Dial directly with country code +91. For example, to call India number 022 24216344, dial “+91 22 24216344”

Local Helpdesk is available at Hong Kong number: +852 2122 1188. Language may be a problem. Only available for voice+data cards

Account Balance Enquiries

USSD enquiry: *118*55# . Please keep the outer part of the SIM card ready for the 19-digit SIM ICCID / serial number.
Online enquiry: Visit www.cuniq.com/ss. Enter your 19-digit SIM ICCID / serial number as username and the PUK as the password. The PUK is a scratch code on your SIM card.

Top-up & Extension of validity

Only the 30 day data-only card can be topped-up and only on the operator’s site. We are not in a position to help you recharge. Please follow these steps:

1. Please visit https://www.cuniq.com/recharge.
2. Please enter 19-digit SIM ICCID / serial number shown on the outer part of the SIM card.
3. Top up via Visa/ UnionPay. Settlement currency is Hong Kong dollar.

APN Setting

For most devices, this SIM card does not require any APN configuration to access Internet. iPhones rarely require any APN setting. However, some Android based devices may require you to manually configure their APN in order to access Internet correctly. If you have an Android OS based device, and your phone can make calls and receive texts, but cannot access Internet, please try to configure the APN based on the following instructions:

Enter Wireless Control-> Mobile Network Settings-> Wireless Access Points (WAP) name-> Menu-> New APN, then input following information:
